Tacoma, Washington –8-14-08 – The #68 HayWire Motorsports / KMB Design Groups / Print-NW / Ringers Gloves / Mauritsen Enterprises Toyota Camry will be in Yakima, Washington on August 16th for the 6th race of the Limited Late Model Racing Series 2008 season. Fresh off what can only be described as the team’s most dominating performance in recent years, #68 HayWire Motorsports team head to Yakima Speedway looking to solidify their current hold on the number 3 spot in the 2008 LLMRS Championship Standings. Although crew chief Derrell McDougald and driver of the #92 RPM Sales & Service / Ringers Gloves / KMB Design Groups / Mauritsen Enterprises Pontiac Grand Prix Tommy Rasmussen have seen victory in previous visits to Yakima, “Terrible” Tim McDougald has yet to set foot on the property. Having already taken 2 main event wins this season, the #68 KMB Design Groups / Print-NW / Ringers Gloves / Mauritsen Enterprises Toyota Camry has rebounded from a dismal 9th place in the standings following the first race of the season to their current 2nd place position. “I can’t tell you how happy I am with my guys and my car,” said driver “Terrible” Tim McDougald, “We had a bad run to open the season. But my guys never give up. And now, here we are where we wanted to be from the start. I know there is still work to do, but these guys are just amazing.” Heading into this weekend’s race, the team begins the stretch run on the 2008 LLMRS season. As the championship standings have taken a firm shape, the #68 HayWire Motorsports team is in the right spot to capitalize on any mistake by their competition. “We know where we stand,” said McDougald, “The trick now is to close it out. I’m honored to be where we are considering the way we started this season. I feel like we have shown what we are capable of. But the reality is, we need some help from here on out.
