HayWire Racing is currently a two car team, with Tommy running in the Whelen All-American Late-Model Super Stock Series at Evergreen Speedway, & Tim running in the Limited Late-Model Racing Series. The team has been competing since 1992 when crew chief Derrell decided to start racing. The team began as a single car team with Tim driving until 1996 when Tommy would join them and expand the operation to two cars. The team is currently working on adding another car to its roster as crew member Donny completes his Street-Stock. HayWire Racing competes at several tracks across Washington, as well as competing in Oregon and Idaho. These tracks include Evergreen Speedway (Monroe, Wa),
South-Sound Speedway (Tenino, Wa), Port Angeles Speedway (Port Angeles, Wa), Wenachee Valley Super Oval (Wenachee, Wa), State-Line Speedway (Post Falls, Id), Yakima Raceway (Yakima, Wa), Douglas County Speedway (Roseburg, Or.) and Ephrata Raceway Park. HayWire Racing has competed at a couple track that do not operate today including Spanaway Speedway & Tri-Cities Raceway Park as well as tracks that are not currently on the schedule including Race City USA (Hermiston, Or) and Spokane Raceway Park (Spokane, Wa).
